SYSTEM DESIGN REPORT. The system will be developed based on the ArcGIS Server platform. The platform would need to interface NETWORKS system for retrieving real time and historical data. The report will cover the basic functionalities and interfaces of the applications points 4 and 5 mentioned below.
"NETWORKS" INTERFACES. The system will be able to establish interfaces and communicate with the "NETWORKS" database in order to display those data required by applications points 4 and 5 mentioned below (VMS content, CCTV screenshots, incidents, traffic flows and telematic infrastructures). The report mentioned in previous point 1 will present the way that the 2 systems are going to communicate.
INTERFACES WITH INFOMOBILITY PLATFORM. The sub-contractor will develop interfaces between NETWORKS system with existing infomobility platform of TREDIT's subsiadiary for real time transition of information concerning: a) incidents, b) traffic flow information.
LRS, NETWORK CODIFICATION. An LRS will be created based on the following assumptions:
The LRS will be developed on the ArcGIS Desktop platform and incorporated in the ArcGIS Server also.
GIS PRESENTATION: THEMATIC MAPS. Developed on the ArcGIS Server platform, this application aims to provide query and layout functionalities. It will provide information about incidents (searchable dataset), traffic flows and infrastructures. Basic statistics (eg: Average Daily or monthly flows) will also be provided.
WEB AND MOBILE APPLICATIONS. In addition to the thematic mapping application, this application (should be one application) will provide access to the VMS and the CCTV. The user will be able to interact with the map and have access to the relevant information. The mobile site will provide an interface to access VMS and CCTV. The application should be simple and light in order to be useful to the users.
